BURDA MAGAZINE 2018 FULL
Separately I quite like the full range of greens they have used for the styling in this issue. Again I prefer look 3 here with the voluminous sleeves and roll neck – its another fall uniform potential. Jacket - Burda Style Magazine 01/2007 - 119 I chose this fairly classic style jacket from the 01/2007 issue of Burda magazine - Im not sure why I had to go back quite so far to find the details I wanted, but it made tracing out the pattern much easier than the newer issues. The lace dress would work for a New Years’ eve dress – classy and gorgeous. I think look 3 would be a nice uniform for fall. The autumnal boho theme is still going strong.

I’d love if Burda had this pattern as the featured sewing lesson with tips on sewing with faux fur fabrics – it looks perfect for fall/winter. The frill detail on the blouse caught my eye. I think the blue poncho with scarf and giant pockets is fabulous! Looking forward to the offering for boys sewing patterns. Here are the sewing patterns that have more than one view and or styling image in the magazine. I really appreciate this as I have 2 boys to sew for as well. This issue has some great boys sewing patterns. The garment or the pattern should be changed (by the individual) to fit the body, not the other way around. The sewist's body is right the way it is. Shitty body talk includes "she's too fat for that", "that's the wrong body type for ", or anything about another person losing weight. Okay body talk includes "the pulling suggests she needs a broad back adjustment", "those look too tight in the seat", "the garment is the wrong size". But a link with no context or relevance is unwelcome. If you want to comment on someone's post about fit with your blog comparison of three different relevant patterns, hell yeah. If you want to write a post that links your store to show off your work, cool. Linking to your youtube video, your etsy store, or your monetized blog are a little different. We love to see one another's work, and linking to your instagram is totally kosher to show off your latest. Same goes for individual sewists and crafters. There is a big, big difference between " has totally lost its way" and " is an idiot", and we expect that you know that difference.

You don't need to personally insult anyone, including public figures. We're here to goof on patterns and discuss pattern companies and all kinds of sewing blog community silliness.
